How it works

Mobile DNA testing refers to bringing an eligible DNA collection appointment to a home, workplace or other supported location. The laboratory test and legal or personal-use requirements remain the same.
Mobile collection solves the travel problem, not the laboratory rules.
The DNA test still follows the approved laboratory workflow. The difference is where an eligible sample is collected. For personal cases, mobile collection can add convenience. For legal cases, the collector also follows the required identity and chain-of-custody steps.
One case can involve more than one location.
If the mother, child, alleged father or other relatives are in different places, submit each city and state. Depending on the laboratory network, split-location collection may be coordinated under the same case.
Same-day means collection availability.
A same-day appointment does not automatically mean same-day laboratory results. Collection timing and laboratory turnaround are separate, and rush processing is confirmed independently when available.
